This policy describes the cookies used by the AikoBot website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies we use
- Login session (
connect.sid): a necessary, HTTP-only session cookie used to keep you signed in to the dashboard through Discord. It is created when a session is established and expires after 30 days. - Cookie preference (
aikobot_consent): a necessary, HTTP-only preference cookie that remembers your cookie choice for up to one year. The matching choice and timestamp are stored in our PostgreSQL database. If you are signed in, the record is associated with your Discord user ID; otherwise it is stored against a random browser identifier.
Optional cookies and tracking
AikoBot does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Choosing “Accept all” does not enable any optional tracking cookies at this time. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your choice before setting non-essential cookies where required.
Discord and third-party services
Signing in redirects you to Discord. Discord operates its own cookies and privacy practices on its services. AikoBot does not control those cookies; review Discord's Privacy Policy for details.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to remove your saved preference and show the choice banner again. You can also clear cookies in your browser. Clearing the preference cookie may cause the banner to appear again; it does not automatically delete the associated database record.
